13 paddlers and 12 boats braved cool'ish temperatures and post-flooding conditions to enjoy a float the the Red River Gorge

I suppose that's the point of this club (which I will soon be a member of) but I'd also like to find a regular touring kayak partner, too. I live in Nicholasville and routinely kayak the KY river at Highbridge and up the Dix River, the Elkhorn in Frankfort, and, most recently Great Crossings Park.

Interested in exploring new areas with a like-minded individual.

I'm not interested in WW. Also, I don't consume alcohol while I'm on the water and I won't go with someone who does (or uses illegal substances) so if that describes you please don't waste my time (or yours).

Hey folks. The Bluegrass Wildwater Association is sponsoring a Wilderness First Aid course November 1-2nd.

The cost per student is $125. Location is UK's campus, Mining and Minerals Building.
Its a 2-day course, put on by Landmark Learning and WMI.
