Cruise Schedule

Each spring, the Elhorn Paddlers meet to plan the “cruise” schedule for the year. Below is the cruise schedule for 2017.

Full Moon Paddle

     June 9, 2017

Deam Lake State Recreation Area, Borden Indiana Full Moon (to rise at 9pm) paddle. We will meet at boat ramp parking lot at 8pm. Hiwassee River Whitewater

July 7-9, 2017

Hiowassee River, Reliance, TN 2 days of paddling whitewater, 4-5 mileas each daym Class II Dam release river nearl half a mile wide where you can pick your route depending on how much of a challenge you wish to take. Outfitter where you can rent rafts, duckies or sit-on-top kayaks. Mostly Class I - II whitewater. Camping near the river Friday & Saturday nights. Fall Meeting

Join us for breakfast at General Butler State Park in Carrolton, KY when we will hold our annual fall membership meeting. Then shake off the meeting minutes by paddling for  a few hours on the park’s lake, or hikie the trails located there. Contact leader for details and to RSVP. Green River Springs

June 24, 2017

Lynn Camp Creek to Rio 12 mile easy paddle on calm water. There are 3waterfalls cascading from springs down an 80 foot bluff and endangered maidenhair fern at the falls.
